GEOGRAFICO: Zanzibar es un archipielaqo de dos Islas principales (Unguja y Pemba) yaproximadamente 50 isletas mas pequefias. Cubre el area de la tierra de 2332 km cuadrado del que Unguja es 1464 km cuadrado.

POliTICO: es la parte de Republica Unida de Tanzania, con autonomia limitada en algunas materias econorrucas, tiene un gobierno aut6nomo completo con su propio presidente, legislatura mini sterial y sistema judicial.
